Doubletree By Hilton Rocky Mount Hotel, Rocky Mount

My stay at the hotel was a mix of positives and negatives. The rooms, although a little older, were very well maintained and clean, with all the essentials stocked. However, there was a broken lamp that was still working. The service was customer-oriented and accommodating, but the heavy perfume spray used to cover odors was a bit overwhelming. The location was convenient, close to the highway, and had nice rooms and suites, but the encounters with rude individuals impacted the experience negatively. The dining experience left much to be desired, lacking variety, whereas the facilities were average.

I recently stayed at the Hilton Double Tree, and while the room had some cleanliness issues like pubic hair in the bathroom and bugs on the desk, the bed was comfortable and the hotel offered a decent gym facility. However, the pricing for a simple breakfast of scrambled eggs was surprisingly high, and there were some maintenance oversights like a dusty headboard. I will not be returning to this hotel.

The location was convenient right off I95 for travelers, although the dining options were limited. Overall, a decent stay with a few ups and downs.
